The Project
New interior design for Saudia's Airbus A321XLR fleet - the airline's first aircraft of this type, introducing a redesigned cabin across both business and economy class on new medium-haul routes across Europe, the Indian subcontinent, and Africa.
The Design
Soft furnishings, materials, and colour palettes were developed across the cabin, with particular focus on the business class suites - introducing new panelling patterns and custom antimacassars to elevate the finish of the lie-flat seats.
My Role
Design and visualiser, working alongside the creative director to develop material, colour, and pattern direction for the cabin interiors, with particular focus on the business class experience.
Why This Project
A chance to shape the tactile, material-led side of a large-scale commercial aviation project - seeing a design developed years earlier finally reach passengers at scale.
